The Best of Himalayas

Best Time

December to March

Land of rivers and himalayas

If you want to view some of the most majestic peaks in the Indian Himalayas and want to do so at a close distance then Kuari Pass is probably one of the treks that should be on your bucket list. The discovery of this pass was probably one of the highlights of Lord Curzon’s career in India and is popularly also known as the Lord Curzon trail.

Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, Neelkanth, Kamet, Mana, Hathi Ghoda are some of the peaks which form the amphitheater in this trek. Also on this trek, one walks through gorgeous jungles of Oak and Deodar trees. And these jungles, of course, are house to some wildlife. Pug marks of leopards or Himalayan black bears can be sighted in the forests.

The trek is not too demanding in nature and although the temperature in winter makes things a little difficult the rewards in terms of views more than makeup for all the hardships

INR 7000 + GST / Person

The whole journey was very exciting and exhilarating. Climbing mountains, crossing rivers, the forests , the peace and tranquility of the atmosphere, the sound of the wind ,the sunset, and sunrise, the beauty of the mountains, the valleys and ravines, the waterfalls, the woods, the birds and the animals, the lovely local, the camping , the food and such endless activities were breathtaking.
